It's the fact that the figures in these sculptures never touch which makes them interesting.

They are stretching towards each other but they never manage to close the circle. 
Never become completely one. 
That space between them is suddenly asking a question.
If you let your eyes move through the opening you may notice that the emptiness inside creates its own shape. 
So what is happening in that void?
